Hello there NHL fans and players, the rumour today is that Sidney Crosby might not be concussion free but from what the penguins gm Ray Shero says Sidney Crosby has been perfectly fine, the words from Dan Bylsma is "Sidney's progressed nicely this summer, he's had a long summer, he's worked out in June and July, We're hoping for Sidney to come back in and be ready to go for training camp. I know he's worked out more now than he has probably the last three summers." Sid is still experiencing post concussion symptoms from what happened at the winter classics and on January 5th, he has been working out a lot in his hometown Nova Scotia and the report back was that he was doing great no signs of concussion symptoms till recently he had very minor post concussion symptoms.


The penguins organization think they might have their top player back by the beginning of the season, it looks promising to me since he hasn’t had much signs of his concussion coming back, the only way to be sure is for him to do the camp and do more test to make sure that he is 100% ready to play again, there are so many people thinking that Sidney after the hit will not be the same but you never know if that’s possible till he either actually practices or plays the game. It’s like taking a car for a test drive you want to see if it works before you buy it, well Sidney is the same way  you want to test him before you put him on the ice to play again cause you don’t want him to get hurt a second time in a row.

It’s been a few months since any one got a comment from Sid on his concussion but they were able to get a comment from him about 2 days ago and he said "I appreciate all the support I’ve received from my family, friends, teammates and fans and from the entire Penguins organization, I know they only want the best for my health, and for me to be fully ready when I return to game action." And as he is happy to get concern from his fan I am happy to know that everyone is willing to see the great hockey player back in action.

Hopefully he can get back in action as soon as he can because he is missed so much by fans and the organization and his friends, nobody knows how quickly he will heal or if he needs to heal at all for all anybody knows he could be good to go and just wants to spend his offseason relaxing in the sun at his lake house in peace, or maybe he has a few symptoms but there is a month till the season starts and a lot can happen in a month from him being symptom free or not ready to play, no one will know till they turn on that first penguins game and see the man we all love and care about score a goal or see him in the box wearing a head set. Either way to know that he is such a great man it’s up to him on how he wants to lead his life not anyone else not even his agent.

All I am saying is whatever decision Sid makes I as a huge fan and someone who truly appreciates what he’s done would stand behind him all the way, he is a great hockey player and will always be a hero in my heart till the day I die.
