Washington Capitals are in 18th place and they thought if they changed the coach it would make a difference.......

Washington has an interesting Captain named Alex Ovechkin and he once upon a time was an amazing player BEFORE he became the crazy Captain he is.

Capitals had a coach named Bruce Boudreau he was a little angry, swore a bit but he still made sure they made it to the playoff by putting them into shape with the frustration he had about them always losing......but then he got fired after Alex Ovechkin got mad at him and yelled at him for getting benched one shift. Got to make the Captain happy right?

WRONG! they should have looked harder at how his team plays rather than how the coach coaches. If they traded Ovechkin they could get better forwards and defencemen and a better chance at winning the Stanley Cup, get rid of the selfish, loss of talent, argumentative captain and bring in some fresh new meat and some true talent.

Alex Ovechkin has argued with coaches about benching him talked only about himself when he is asked about how his team is, likes to be the one to score all the goals and thinks if it doesn't go his way he has to argue about it till it fits him. If that is how you choose a captain than i'd be damned the rest of the NHL must be doing it wrong.

A captain always was chosen by how well they leaded and how they respect and treat their team, a captain talks about how the whole team is amazing and leads them to a victory, even if they lose they still treat it like a victory and when its a constant lose they express their frustration. Good example would be Sidney Crosby, Jonathan Toews, Henrik Sedin, Dion Phaneuf Etc.

Once you fix your team the rest will follow along such as the successful team and the awards and the happy people that comes along with it.

I don't mean to make Alex look like a selfish ungrateful captain but really he brings it upon himself so im just showing the true him, Sorry Ovechkin
