Some exciting news for the penguins fans or Crosby fans out there, Sidney Crosby a 24 year old from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia played hockey since he was three and I think it really paid off.

Sidney Crosby the man who was out all of 2010-2011 season with a concussion and then out at the near beginning of 2011-2012 season and then surprised everyone once again with his skill has done something some people would call a little reckless. Ray Shero a couple days handed Sid the Kid a contract e...

I know all you have been wondering where Luongo might go or if he is being traded but there is a final and only destination that Luongo wants to go to and that’s home.

His wife and kids live in Florida and that’s the place he calls home, Roberto Luongo a 33-year old net minder for the Vancouver Canucks has been tossed back and forth on what team they want to trade him to but Roberto said he wants to play for one team and one team only, the Florida Panthers but in the Canucks mind they...

Depressing news for Penguins fans today, Forward Jordan Staal and Defense Zbynek Michalek have been traded to another team.

Jordan Staal a player who was drafted the first round pick to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2006 is apparently no longer needed in Pittsburgh, he will join his brother Eric Staal on the Carolina Hurricanes next season. Posted by Amy Kobza on Friday, June 22, 2012, In : Hockey

After the hard season and the unfortunate loss New York Rangers comedy man Brandon Dubinsky made a comment that he is not ready to leave just yet.

Brandon Dubinsky despite the rough season this year has done a significant job playing hockey, he has not signed a contract because he still is on his 4 year contract that he signed last year on July 2011 and he said he’s going to stay with the rangers despite unexpected season he had this year. Dubinsky who last year led the team with 24 goal...

Day before the NHL Awards Erik Karlsson signed a extending contract to play for the Ottawa Senators for another 7 years for $45.5 mill, 22 year old Erik Karlsson of the Ottawa Senators who won the James Norris Memorial Trophy last night is an outstanding defence man who has shown that if you put your heart in to what you love you can be a super star.

Luongo A Goner?

Posted by Amy Kobza on Friday, June 22, 2012, In : NHL

Roberto Luongo previously the #1 goalie of the Vancouver Canucks has not been playing so well for about 3 years or so, everyone has lost faith in Luo and has been turning to the ginger Cory Schneider.

Corey Schneider the 2nd goalie for the Vancouver Canucks is like a rising star he is doing an amazing job saving pucks, Schneider last year didn’t really get a chance to play in the normal season or the playoff season, could it be because Luongo is selfish and wants not only all the money ...

Jordan Staal a forward of the Pittsburgh Penguin who has been known to the team to be an outstanding player has been offered a 10 year contract to play with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Jordan Staal declined the deal noting that he is not interested in a future with the Pittsburgh Penguins at the moment, maybe in the future we might see something different. Then again if you remember reading the news or hearing the rumors the Penguins noted they might have to trade Jordan Staal due to a issue...

Alex Ovechkin the guy who used to care about himself is doing an outstanding job

Ovi has picked up his game and has been talking more about his respectable team mates and how good they play, it quite amazing to hear that such talent is being shown i hope he continues the work and continues to impress every one who cares and loves him.

He is an amazing guy but some times he needs to work on his attitude a little bit because in the end that will fade and he is doing an amazing job especially thro...

Flyers, Media Vs Penguins and the coach......Childish?

Posted by Amy Kobza on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, In : NHL
Philadelphia Flyers played against the Pittsburgh Penguins April 1st and it was just a hair shy of blood bath, Maybe it was an April fools joke?

Surprisingly what may have seemed like an April Fools joke was not at all one to tell the truth the words grew worse after the game was finished and aired today turns out Mike Milbury had some tasteful comments along with Peter Laviolette showing hes not afraid to argue about the penguins at any time.

Remember last night when the Coach Laviolette and a...

Washington Capitals are in 18th place and they thought if they changed the coach it would make a difference.......

Washington has an interesting Captain named Alex Ovechkin and he once upon a time was an amazing player BEFORE he became the crazy Captain he is.

Capitals had a coach named Bruce Boudreau he was a little angry, swore a bit but he still made sure they made it to the playoff by putting them into shape with the frustration he had about them always losing......but then he got fired aft...

Posted by Amy Kobza on Friday, March 9, 2012, In : NHL
November was a stressful year for a lot of NHL players but especially for the Penguins

Sidney Crosby a 24-year-old superstar captain was hurt in November what they thought was a concussion turned out to be a healed fracture on his neck, he has been trying to get back in the game for about 3 months now and he is urging to get back in to the game as fast as possible.

Crosby has been cleared for contact and the second his team heard the news they had no problem hitting and bumping him around, the...

Ovechkin Stealing From Team.....Is He Really Captain Material?

Posted by Amy Kobza on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, In : NHL
On February 20th 2012 the Washington Capitals played against the Carolina Hurricanes and had a disappointing loss with a score of 5-0

Alex Ovechkin is the captain of the Washington Capitals as we all know, but is it right to let him wear the big "C"?

During the game the Canes scored two goals with in seconds of each other, you want to blame the defense but is it really there fault that goals were scored against them? i dont think so much that they wanted to i mean they tried but with little he...

Posted by Amy Kobza on Sunday, January 29, 2012, In : NHL
Ovechkin was suspended for 3 games for an illegal hit on Zbynek Michalek on January 22 2012 but that's not really shacking up the media, every one gets a suspension for an illegal hit but when is it you hear a player refusing to go to the All-Star Game?

Alexander Ovechkin says he doesn't not want to go to the All-Star Games because he feels he doesn't deserve it after the hit on Michalek....is this true or was he afraid to face Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang? He may not think he doesn't deserve...

The history repeats Sidney Crosby is once again out with concussion like symptoms

Crosby had returning concussion symptoms after being hit in the head by Boston Bruins David Krejci, If you remember a combination of a hit at the winter classics game by Victor Hedman and then another hit from Krejci at their last game in early January last season caused Crosby to be out of action for 10 1/2 months and now the symptoms are back and he is out again. Wait is almost over......The Russians Unite

Posted by Amy Kobza on Saturday, October 15, 2011, In : NHL

Good news to all the Crosby fans out there, the wait for him to come back from his 9 month concussion is almost over he has been cleared for contact. One problem even though he’s cleared I don’t think the team members get that they now can hit Sidney Crosby without any worries, he has been trying to force them to hit him but there was no luck on the situation. Maybe we need someone to help out? And what I mean by that is maybe someone needs to get Mario Lemieux to dust off those skates ...
